The Journal for Communication and Culture welcomes contributions from experts and researchers interested in philosophical approaches to human communication and to the human condition. The journal has a strong publishing history in the problems of contextuality, local and global narratives, and hermeneutics broadly construed. All suitable manuscripts will receive editorial feedback and are anonymously peer-reviewed by at least two referees.
JCC is published on November 27th each year (except for the special issues). We accept submissions continuously. The peer-review and editing process normally takes about 6 months. Please note that JCC editors usually ask for further formatting and revision of the text before publication. Thus, we strongly advise authors to consult our author guidelines prior to submission of papers and send their manuscripts at their earliest possible convenience.
Articles must be accompanied by an abstract of about 150 words and up to five key words or phrases. JCC only accepts submissions in English.
Book reviews are to be accompanied by up to five key words or phrases and a digital copy of the book’s cover (.png and.jpg formats are preferred).
In addition to the manuscripts, authors should include in their submission information on their institutional affiliation and some contact information, e.g. email address. Please provide this information separate from the manuscript, which will be anonymously peer-reviewed.
All editorial correspondence and any additional questions regarding submissions should be addressed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
