JCC, edited by the ICC, retains all rights for its published content, as stated herein. JCC is published as an open-access journal, its content being available to all readers immediately upon publication on http://jcc.icc.org.ro, under a CC BY-NC-SA licence. Exceptions apply to authors, who retain all publishing rights without restriction (see below). Readers may freely read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of JCC’s articles. Readers may subscribe to JCC in their preferred online reader (Atom subscription) or by email. Any other syndication of JCC’s content should be priorly approved by JCC’s editor. Readers have the right to cite JCC’s content in teaching and other non-commercial purposes, as long as they mention the author, article title, journal title and journal issue number and year.
Submitting an article does not, in any way, guarantee its publication. Before publication, all articles are initially assessed by our editors and then thoroughly blind peer-reviewed by at least two experts from our editorial and advisory boards (or by other guest referees). Authors should expect editorial feedback for their content in five to six months’ time after submission. All authors receive an uncorrected proof if their manuscript is accepted for publication.
We urge the authors to get acquainted with our author guidelines before submitting any papers. Even if a manuscript is accepted for publication, JCC editors may still ask for further formatting and revision of the text.
Publishing in JCC is entirely free of charge, and submitting an article does not entitle you to financial compensation of any kind on behalf of the Journal for Communication and Culture or the Institute for Communication and Culture.
Manuscripts sent to our editors should not have been formerly submitted to any other publication. Authors retain have the right to include all or part of their work published with us in their dissertations, books and other works alike. In the case of a future republication, we kindly ask authors to mention the first publication of their work in the Journal for Communication and Culture.
